hello from last week, when i shifted all the stuff i was lining up for today into next week’s issue. calling in rest. calling in slowness.
this is landing in your inbox on beltane, a spring rite of renewal. i’m typing on my phone as i hike into a queer patch of woods in tennessee that i call home. it’s soggy in such a great way. it’s green, green, green. it’s time to conjure some access magic away from my screens.
[i’m trying to place an image here but the cell service is asking if i really need all that. anyway it’s a photo of a little icon i just met, a beautiful snail, blue-grey stone colors, making their little way across a path and reminding me of so much of my body that doesn’t end where my skin meets the air!!]
and of course today is also may day, a moment to celebrate the potency of organizing that can build new worlds. disability artistry is gonna make it so work doesn’t hurt so much, i just know it!
thanks for being here.

I’m heading to be with the ocean today. Thank you for taking it slow!
I celebrate you, your weekly drop into my inbox, and I celebrate slowness.
